As a CityGrid partner, you can get paid to display rich, local CityGrid content and advertising on your site or application, and get paid when your users engage. When you request a CityGrid ad, CityGrid's servers take information about listings in CityGrid's system and create an advertisement from them. Two types of APIs are available for advertisements:
Places that Pay
If you are a CityGrid partner and pass certification, you can use the Places API to display business information, and you will get paid when users engage with the content.
Custom Ads
The Custom Ads API provides raw information in the form of XML so that you can create your own advertisement that matches your look-and-feel. Information returned includes name, address, tag line, rating, reviews, distance from search location, and a destination URL. Your application should navigate to the destination URL when the advertisement is clicked.
